Research Activities

There is a marketing scientific research school at the department led by Professor A.F. Pavlenko (ScD in Economics). All professors and teachers of the department are involved into the active research work. Collections of results of the research work of the department's employees are published every year. More than 40 doctoral and post-graduate students are involved into the research work. Every year, 2 or 3 ScD or PhD theses are defended in pressing issues of the marketing theory and practice in Ukraine. 

Results of the research work of the Department are used in the teaching process; new special courses are being developed, which match the contemporary philosophy of market relations. The projects of professors and teachers of the department are reflected upon in monographs, textbooks, manuals and a large number of papers published every year.

Students of Marketing take active part in the scientific research work. International students' conferences are held every year. As a result, collections of research papers of students and young researchers are published. Students of Marketing has won a number of times at Ukrainian Olympics, Ukrainian Contests of Students' Research Papers in Natural, Technical Sciences and Humanities, and other scientific contests for the young talented students.
